**Your day-to-day will look like**:

- Manage the project and collaborate with the team to ensure work is carried out in alignment with the planned schedule and cost budget targets, and be responsible for overall project health.
- Provide strong leadership to project team members, capitalizing on individual and group strengths to ensure project targets are achieved.
- Identify and manages opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible impact on schedule and financial targets.
- Lead and control all change management as per the Project Management Manual.
- Ensure the project team is implementing, and participate in, the corporate Health & Safety Program.
- Take the lead on (or delegate as necessary, while remaining accountable) the project quality control program and/or the quality management system.
- Review all Shop drawings for accuracy and submission.
- Preparation and execution of overall Execution/Work Plans and monthly project schedules.
- Manage the procurement process including subcontractor/trade/supplier negotiations and awards, and compile POs/Subcontract documents as per Hall’s Procurement Manual.
- Liaise with consulting engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding the contract, change notices, design revisions, RFIs, RFQs, etc.
- Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor and support the project’s ongoing progression.
- Routinely visit the project site and engage with the Site Foreman.
- Compile the final quality document for turnover to the client at project completion and close out.
- Review and understand in detail project contracts. The language used in correspondence, formal or informal, is to match the contract requirements. Special attention is to be given to contractual response times, including but not limited to change orders and or claims, to ensure that response time are adhered to for all items.

**You have the following qualifications, technical and interpersonal skills**:

- Qualifications_:

- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- Must have excellent English communication.
- Years of experience: Minimum 5+ years of progressive project management. Construction industry experience is considered an asset.
- Education: Bachelors Degree is preferable.
- Designations: P.Eng and/or PMP considered an asset.
- Technical Skills:_
- Programs -MS Project, eSUB, Plangrid, Sitedocs.
- Interpreting Cost Reports and forecasting to completion.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, MS Teams, etc.
- Strong understanding of Plumbing code, local specifications, and construction practices.
- Interpersonal Skills:_
- Excellent leadership qualities and excellent communicator.
- Strong Priority management skills.
- Comfortable working in a team environment and taking the lead in team meetings and group tasks.
- Makes Health & Safety the number one priority and demands that of others.
- Ability to work on own initiative and problem solve in a timely manner.
- Strong organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Capacity to build network with clients, subcontractors, and all project stakeholders, with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Understand how to prioritise workload and be responsive.
- Comfortable with conflict or ‘difficult’ conversations with clients and colleagues and vendors.
