**SALARY: $40.37 (MIN) TO $56.30 (MAX)**

The successful applicant will be assigned to a primary area but expected to assist in other clinical
areas as required. Rotations occur on a regular basis to enhance and maintain skill levels. Within
the organization, the physiotherapist’s main role is to provide assessment, treatment, education
and onward referral to patients and their caregivers to achieve patient centred goals.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:
Registration with College of Physiotherapists of Ontario required
Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) Certificate required

(recent within the last twelve months)
Current Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate required (training delivered by

Health Centre upon hire)
Two years of experience in an acute care setting is required
Required participation in inter-professional rounds, meetings, family conferences, and

discharge planning
Responsible for the supervision of therapy assistants, liaising with external professionals

and the mentorship/supervision of colleagues and students as is appropriate
Excellent interpersonal skills required
Excellent communication skills required
Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation - Basic required
Good attendance and work record required
Authorizer with ADP an asset
Must demonstrate commitment to ensure their safety, the safety of fellow workers,

patients, volunteers, and visitors
Must support and contribute to a culture of safety and prevention of adverse health events

in this organization

to evaluate the proficiency level.
