We are currently looking to add a Pilot Driver/Swamper to our team.

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Ability to take direction with assisting other employees in various tasks as requested
- Ability to communicate well and perform physically demanding work
- Self-motivated with an attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Valid Class 5 with clean driving record
- Previous experience in machinery is an asset

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist day to day operations in the shop
- Operate basic hand tools and powered hand tools
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment at all times
- Perform other duties as required by the manager
- Flag traffic and spot equipment maneuvering in various situations.
- Assist driver to prep equipment for load securement, preparing chains, boomers, etc.
- Sweep trailers and load and unload areas before leaving jobsites.
- Driving an automobile in front of or behind oversized vehicles.
- Ensure the load remains secure during the trip while driving behind the truck.
- Determine traffic patterns and announce obstructions on the road.
- Communicate with the truck driver to ensure that they are aware of any upcoming situations such as traffic jams, stop lights, or other obstacles.

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
