Research Agronomist

**Qualifications**:
Minimum B.Sc. or Diploma in agriculture or equivalent education and experience is required.
Ideal applicants will have previous research experience in agriculture or an environment-related discipline. Previous summer employment experience in field research and field trial design would be highly valued. Experience in operation of seeding, spraying and harvesting equipment and maintenance will be an asset. Preference will be given to applicants with knowledge and experience in Canadian agriculture. The successful applicant must be willing to travel periodically and complete tasks requiring extended work hours when necessary. Computer literacy using an IBM-compatible PC in a Windows environment is required. Experience with Excel and Word are required, experience with ARM software would be considered an asset. A valid driver's license is required. Experience with towing a 20 ft equipment trailer or similar would be considered an asset.

**Salary**: $44,530.58-$90,719.52 per year
