**YARD ASSOCIATE**

**Job Type**:Part-time (2 positions)
**Start Date**:Mid-April
**End Date**: July 1, 2024
**Salary/Wage**: starting at $15.30/hr
**Hours of Work**:9am - 5pm weekend work as required, and evening (10am-6pm) when greenhouse opens

**The position**:We are looking for a highly motivated and hard-working individual to work in our retail store at 7724 Roblin Blvd. Our retail staff work inside our garden centre and greenhouses. The successful applicant will have excellent customer service skills, be a team-player, and willingness to learn. Come help our customers make their garden dreams come true

**Responsibilities can include**:

- Bagging various landscaping products in our bulk bin area (manure, mulch, sand, granite)
- Mowing around all buildings, fencelines, tress, etc.
- Weeding nursery items, parking lot and outback greenhouse
- Cleaning as needed, including sweeping, garbage and recycling, sanitizing and window washing

**Requirements**:

- Must love dogs (We are a dog-friendly business)
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Horticulture background/knowledge is an asset
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
- Available to work during regular store hours including flexibility to work weekends as required

**Note**:T&T Seeds is located at 7724 Roblin Blvd, Headingley. Successful applicants must have access to transportation as it is not accessible by city transit.

**Salary**: From $15.30 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
