**Responsibilities Include**:

- Process new customer account approvals, establishing credit limits and security requirements in accordance with company policies, procedures and guidelines
- Maintain receivables within current credit limit terms and alert management of any issues immediately
- Oversee and monitor collection process of outstanding accounts inclusive of working with collection agencies, legal firms and any other third-party service providers
- Oversee and monitor automated bank withdrawals and fund transfers
- Produce month end reports and generate monthly statements
- Answer customer inquiries: invoices and statements or follow-up on document requests
- Build and maintain good working relationships and liaise regularly and professionally with employees at all levels, third-party stakeholders and customers
- Maintain Suncor Energy designated customer accounts and commission setup in WTBS
- Reply or direct Suncor notifications requesting back-up and corrections on client accounts
- Complete month-end reconciliations of all accounts receivable accounts, including any reporting against key performance indicators and related A/R analytics

**EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE**:

- Certificate / diploma in accounting, bookkeeping or related field
- Minimum 4 years of related practical work experience in accounts receivable and collections
- Skillful knowledge working with Excel, MS Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of the transportation industry is an asset
- Experience in gathering data and producing financial reports

- Ability to proof read reports, policies, statistical data
