**Job Summary**
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks, including installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. This role is perfect for those eager to learn and develop their skills in a dynamic work environment.

**Responsibilities**
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and components.
- Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
- Support experienced electricians in troubleshooting electrical issues.
- Help with low voltage wiring installations as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance knowledge of electrical systems and practices.

**Experience**
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools commonly used in electrical work.
- Basic understanding of industrial electrical systems is preferred.
- Experience with reading schematics and blueprints is a plus.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems is advantageous but not required.
- A strong willingness to learn and grow within the electrical trade.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship program is an asset.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in the electrical trade is an advantage but not required.
- **Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and manual dexterity to handle job demands.
- Effective communication skills.
- **Certifications**: Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation. Current WHMIS or Working at Heights certification is a plus.

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
