Calgary, Canada RADISSON HOTEL AND CONFERENCE CENTRE CALGARY Full time

Radisson Hotel & Conference Centre, Calgary looking for a Maintenance Manager to service the Property Operations and Maintenance function for the 120-room hotel.

This full-service property features over 9,000 sq. ft. of meeting and function space, a restaurant, lounge, pool, as well as an in-house laundry.
The position is full-time and will report to the Hotel General Manager.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work as a co-operative member of the hotel’s leadership team.
- Maintains the building’s mechanical equipment is performing at an efficient level.
- Maintains and ensure property’s exterior envelope is in good order and meet the established standards.
- Ensure Hotel Policies and Procedures are followed to ensure department objectives are met.
- Ensure department operates in compliance with all relevant laws.
- Able to perform all duties and tasks associated with building maintenance and repair, plumbing, HVAC and electrical.
- Maintain liaison with all hotels operating departments.
- Know all fire, life and safety procedures and take all means necessary to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and employees in an emergency.
- Attend regular Department Head meetings.
- Organize, prioritize work orders to provide efficient service to guests.
- Ensure proper operations of all furniture, fixtures, and equipment in hotel and restaurant.
- Control and maintain an inventory of parts and tools, while maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Implement an effective preventative maintenance program.
- Review service or maintenance contracts for competitive pricing.
- Maintain appropriate and statutory service record.
- Attend to guest complaints and maintenance requests promptly and efficiently.
- Conduct regular walk-throughs and check for deficiencies.
- Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hotel or similar facility.
- Certified Pool/Spa Operator (CPO) Certification an asset.
- (BOC) Building operation certificate / ticket or related education an asset
- Be available to attend to emergency situations during off-hours.
