Edmonton, Canada Securiguard Full time

Securiguard is looking for highly capable security and investigations professionals for our **Loss Prevention Team**.

**What you would do**:
As a member of our **Undercover Retail Crime Team**, you will be working in teams of 2-4, patrolling select retail stores. As part of your role, you will be apprehending shoplifters, following prolific offenders, and gathering related intelligence on current crime activity.

**What you would bring**:

- Valid Alberta Security Worker License
- USE of Force Training (preferred)
- Previous Security Experience - 1year (required)
- Loss Prevention Experience
- 6 months (required)
- Must be flexible to work in multiple stores/locations.
- Must be able to stand for an 8-hour period.
- Ability to complete incident reports on a daily basis.
- Must be comfortable apprehending and detaining shoplifters when required.
- Ability to handle difficult situations with a calm demeanor.
- Excellent judgment and decision-making ability
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to arrest, recover and conduct mobile and static surveillance of persons, groups, vehicles, and addresses.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team as operational needs dictated.
