- Shift Time: Sunday - Thursday 10pm - 6am
- Pay rate: 23.34/hr
- Position Summary:_
- Loads pallets of productions onto trailers according to load diagram or by customer.
- Essential Functions:_- Inspects trailer interiors for cleanliness.-
- Loads pallets onto trucks or trailers in proper sequence per computer generated loadsheet.-
- Hand stacks product on trucks when necessary.-
- Secures pallets with load bars or load straps.-
- Verifies that all pallets are placed on the correct truck.-
- Sets the refrigeration units at the proper temperature.-
- Wraps all pallets with shrink-wrap prior to loading on trailers.-
- Completes housekeeping activities on a daily basis.-
- Performs other duties as assigned.- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:_- Must have the ability to read, write and communicate in English.-
- Must be able to work independently or within a team environment. Must adhere to all safety regulations and procedures. Must submit to and pass a RIAH drug screen.-
- Employees in all warehouse positions must be able to immediately perceive auditory warning signals such as bells, alarms, and horns that are used to warn employees of the start-up, movement, or approach of equipment (including forklifts, turrets, overhead cranes, conveyors, trucks, and other equipment operated inside or outside the warehouse), mechanical abnormalities, and similar risk situations during warehouse operations.-
