We are currently looking for a Technician to join our service centre.

Our repair technicians are responsible for repairing and calibrating NDT equipment such as magnetic yokes, thickness gauges, videoscopes, hardness testers, ultrasound probes, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow procedures as defined by either the manufacturer of the equipment (OEM) or by in-house development
- Use and maintain NIST traceable calibration equipment
- Provide exceptional and prompt customer service by communicating professionally and efficiently with clients
- Problem solve to provide the best solutions for our clients needs

Repair electronic equipment using component-level troubleshooting techniques to reduce the time and budget costs for the customer by:

- Interpreting schematic and other technical documentation provided the OEM
- Sourcing replacement parts from appropriate vendors at appropriate cost either from local suppliers or by ordering online or via phone
- Employing the use of standard electronic test and repair equipment such as oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, soldering equipment, etc
- Employing third-party vendors/contractors when in-house service work is not feasible
- Researching appropriate third-party facilities when needed if an existing business relationship has not yet been established
- Managing shipments to/from third-party facilities

Maintain records for all client equipment by:

- Creating and maintaining equipment/customer files
- Generating service documents such as calibration data, calibration certificates, repair reports, client authorization requests
- Organizing and updating filing area
- Filing completed work orders

Ensure procedural and policy requirements are being met in order to maintain service quality by:

- Reporting to supervisor on a regular basis regarding equipment status
- Reviewing and understanding procedures and policies as outlined in the Employee Handbook and Quality Manual
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisors

**Requirements**:

- Electronic/Electrical Engineering Technologist Diploma or equivalent
- 2-3 years minimum experience in electronics repair
- Attention to detail
- Proficiency in written and spoken English
