**Description de poste**:
Le tarificateur est responsable de l'évaluation individuelle des preuves d'assurabilité présentées par les proposants d’assurance-santé personnelle, d'assurance-vie et d'assurance contre les maladies graves vendues par des conseillers Sun Life et par l’entremise de notre proposition offerte directement aux Clients. En exerçant son jugement de manière solide et juste, le titulaire du poste procède à une analyse complexe des renseignements médicaux et financiers des proposants afin de déterminer la catégorie de risque à laquelle ils appartiennent.
En tant que membre de l'équipe de la tarification, le tarificateur communique avec diverses personnes, évalue les preuves d'assurabilité et prépare les décisions concernant la tarification en respectant le niveau de service et de qualité attendu.
Principales responsabilités:
- Fournir une expertise technique quant à l'évaluation des risques de morbidité et de mortalité en s'appuyant sur des méthodes de tarification individuelle.
- Interpréter les états financiers et les déclarations d'impôt afin de calculer le revenu gagné.
- Travailler de façon autonome sur des propositions complexes dans le respect des pouvoirs qu'il est autorisé à exercer.
- Communiquer directement avec les proposants et les gestionnaires de régime au sujet des décisions touchant la tarification.
- Traiter les appels téléphoniques difficiles provenant de proposants dont la demande d'assurance a été refusée ou approuvée avec restrictions.
- Soutenir la mise en œuvre d'améliorations continues.
- Participer activement aux réunions d'équipe et encourager l'équipe à atteindre ses objectifs.
- Inspirer la confiance et faire preuve d'intégrité dans son travail.
**Qualifications**:
Compétences:
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite, capacité à être persuasif dans des situations difficiles et à écrire de façon claire et instructive;
- Bon sens de l'organisation, esprit analytique poussé, excellentes aptitudes pour la résolution de problèmes et souci du détail;
- Attitude positive et engagement à offrir un service de qualité;
- Capacité à demeurer calme malgré la pression;
- Sens développé du travail d'équipe;
- Capacité à inspirer la confiance aux autres;
- Aisance avec l'ambiguïté; expérience attestée dans l'art de transformer des renseignements vagues en décisions de tarification sensées;
- Détenteur de la désignation professionnelle Fellow, Life Management Institute (FLMI) ou Fellow, Academy of Life Underwriting (FALU), ou être en voie de l'obtenir, un atout;
- Maîtrise du français à l’oral comme à l’écrit.
