**Novo Peak Health Inc. has been an innovative and progressive force in the Eldercare industry for over 20 years; providing physiotherapy, occupational therapy and assistive devices program services (ADP) to long-term care and retirement homes, community wellness centres and community clinics across Ontario. Novo Peak Health is contracted to provide Exercise and Falls Prevention (EFP) classes, which are funded through the Ministry of Health and are free of charge to seniors (65+). These classes are available in a variety of locations, including community centres and retirement homes, and are comprised of a variety of strength training, balance, mobility and functional based exercises. The exercise classes focus on improving strength, muscular endurance, and aerobic fitness, and our falls prevention classes focus on range of motion, flexibility, and improving balance and stability. The exercise instructor would be required to travel between locations and conduct these classes onsite, for groups varying of 5-10-20+ participants

Novo Peak Health is currently looking for a **Exercise Instructor **to work within our multidisciplinary team at 4 long term care homes located in the **Newmarket, Aurora, Mt. Albert, and Stouffville, ON** areas and lead our group exercise classes.

The schedule for this position is as follows:

- **Mondays**: 2 - 3 pm
- **Tuesdays**: 9 - 10 am; 1 - 3 pm
- **Wednesdays**: 9:45 - 10:30 am; 1 - 3 pm
- **Thursdays**: 9 - 10 am; 1 - 3 pm
- **Fridays**: 1 - 3 pm
- **Saturdays**: 9:45 - 10:30 am

**Key Qualifications**:

- Previous experience working in a long term care environment
- Must be fluent in English and have great oral and writing skills
- Must be punctual and be able to work independently
- Current Vulnerable Sector Screen (within the last year)
- 2 Step TB Test (within the last year)
- Fully vaccinated against Covid 19
