Pharmacy Clerk and Compounding Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Assistant with experience in compounding to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our pharmacy operations by supporting pharmacists in preparing compounded medications tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients. Your responsibilities will include:

- Compounding medications accurately and efficiently under the supervision of a pharmacist.
- Ensuring compliance with all pharmacy regulations and safety standards during the compounding process.
- Maintaining inventory of compounding supplies and medications.
- Assisting pharmacists with prescription processing and dispensing when needed.
- Providing excellent customer service to patients by addressing their inquiries and concerns.

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent (certification from a pharmacy technician program is a plus).
- Proven experience in compounding medications in a pharmacy setting.
- Strong understanding of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in compounding practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
