Snowmaking Operator

**Your Opportunity**:
It's true we get some of the biggest snowfalls in North America. And yes we also make snow on some popular runs. Mount Washington has invested in state-of-the art snowmaking equipment that helps our guests get the most out of winter. We have openings for talented Snowmaking Operators this winter.

**Responsibilities**:

- Produce quality manufactured snow
- Maintain and monitor snowmaking system including pumps, hoses & snow guns
- Operate department vehicles
- Shovel and clear ice
- Roll and pack hoses
- Record general snowmaking details
- Read, understand, acknowledge, and follow all the Resort’s policies and procedures
- Perform other general labour and complete other duties as required.

**Required Experience & Qualifications**:

- Passion for winter sports
- Valid drivers license
- Able to work variable shifts, day or night
- Physically able to work outdoors in multiple locations in variable weather conditions; reach, stoop, kneel, bend at the waist, and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs); and operate machinery, vehicles, tools, and sporting equipment.
- Able to operate independently
- Snowmobile/off-road vehicle and record keeping experience would be an asset
- Previous related experience would be an asset.
