HR Business Partner

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic media agency environment and actively participate in various facets of Human Resources management, spanning the entire employee lifecycle.

**OVERVIEW**:
Reporting to the Managing Director, People, you will leverage your HR expertise in fostering a diverse and inclusive culture, where employees are engaged and collectively driven. Partnering with the broader HR team and the agency’s people leaders, your value-add impact will be an essential aspect in driving our strategic and operational priorities.

**Who you are**:
As an experienced HR generalist, you are passionate about the employee experience and committed to service excellence. You build relationships and excel at projects and initiatives related to employee engagement, development and retention, all in service of making GroupM a media destination for talent. Meanwhile, you stay on top of your game by deepening your knowledge and understanding of HR policies, procedures and best practices. You are a true collaborator with our Talent Acquisition team, ensuring our planning and hiring supports an environment of the best and brightest talent in the media space.

**Your Impact**:

- Provide HR advice and support to business leads with workforce planning, ensuring changes align with our business objectives and talent is deployed effectively.
- Analyze HR trends and metrics that help the business take informed decisions.
- Collaborate with HR leads across agencies and Canada-wide to innovate and ensure operational effectiveness.
- Lead cross-organizational initiatives to elevate practices and roll out new programs and policies.
- Provide coaching to junior team members, focused on their development and growth.
- Guide and support managers in resolving employee relations matters.
- Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal employment laws and regulations.
- Work collaboratively with other business units to support people-related initiatives.

**What YOU Bring**:

- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant Human Resources Generalist experience, including HR administration, business partnering, performance management and talent development.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills, working with different levels of the organization, including senior management.
- Demonstrated sound judgement when assessing a variety of situations.
- A strong track record in planning, executing and maintaining projects, processes and/or initiatives.
- Effective at presenting initiatives and recommendations to management teams.
- Prioritization and time management skills.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization.
