Sign & Graphic Installer

We are currently looking for a full-time sign and graphics installer to join our experienced team The ideal applicant would be versatile and solution-oriented and must be able to communicate and work well in a team environment.

The work includes cutting, basic fabricating, and finishing of various plastics, wood and aluminum. A large range of vinyl graphics need to be handled and installed using appropriate techniques depending on their type. Installations are indoors and outdoors, all year round, and occasionally at second storey heights. Wage would be based on previous relevant experience. Hours of work are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional overtime. Group benefits are available after 3 months.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare sign substrates for production using various hand & power tools
- Keep track of material inventory & storage
- Ensure that working area is clean and organized
- Report issues with equipment or unsafe conditions
- Assist the graphics production team
- Transport materials and signage
- Follow instructions from work orders, diagrams and supervisors
- Install various dimensional lettering and panel signs
- Install vinyl graphics and films to walls, windows, heavy equipment and vehicles
- Install post & panel structures in ground in a variety of ways

**Requirements**:

- Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s License
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the job and work in various weather conditions
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety rules
- Must be comfortable working from heights

Preference will be given to those that have previous work experience in sign fabrication or construction, as well as the following:

- Familiarity with various power tools, a variety of fasteners and man-lift equipment
- Knowledge and skilled with hand tools, painting and general construction
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadline requirements

Funk Signs Inc. is a commercial design and sign production company in Kamloops, BC. We produce a wide range of different sign products; such as vinyl decals, vehicle graphics, panel signs, dimensional letters, safety & industrial signs, plastic signs and banners.

**Salary**: $22.00-$26.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

**Experience**:

- Sign Installation: 1 year (preferred)
