- Assistant**Intended job posting audience**Looking for a part time laborer to assist with placing larger equipment, basic landscaping and construction skills would be preferable. Someone who owns their own pickup truck would also have preference. Usage will be compensated

Duties would include:
Ground preparation

Building basic lumber pads for equipment

Assisting with placing equipment and heavy lifting

Assisting with installation of heat pumps and air handling equipment

Picking up and delivering freight

Running errands and occasional dump runs

Wide variety of further work around the job site and shop depending on skill set and motivation level.

Potential for sheet metal or refrigeration apprenticeship for the right fit. The part time work would allow us to build a relationship and see how we work together.

There is an abundance of work in this trade, however training people is not cheap and I would be investing a lot of personal capitol in someone, with less than 10K a year in tax incentives and other support for training, I would only accept the best and brightest for an opportunity at an apprenticeship with this company.

That said, if you have a desire to work through the trade, and the motivation and attitude that I think it will take, you may be able to make it.

Refrigeration requires good critical thinking skills and problem solving, attention to detail, and a lot of patience.

Also important, is decent information retention, as there is just so much to learn in any trade and this is certainly no different.
