Responsibilities include: leading a crew in the Sanitation of commercial food Plant and Equipment - At times will include Day, Afternoon and Occasional Weekend Shifts as required for production deadlines - must be flexible

**Overview**

Reports to Plant Manager

Accountable for planning, coordinating, and leading all work activities and resources necessary for the up keep of all production equipment and facility. At times may be required to assist in the management of some production lines in order to meet required daily customer order and shipping demand.

This position will be required to work a combination of afternoons as well as occasional day or weekend shifts depending upon the requirements. This position will also be involved in the upkeep of the property and building. This position will also be required to be a key lead in the creation, implementation and upkeep of preventative and demand sanitation programs.

**Responsibilities**
- This includes leadership of the sanitation team.
- Ensure 100% compliance at all times with Sanitation and GMP requirements
- Provides for the safety of all personnel by strict observance and enforcement of safety rules and regulations.
- Ensure approved chemicals and processes for all functions and SSOP’s are adhered to at all times during and after work has been performed
- Develops, and implements new methods and procedures designed to improve operations, minimize operating costs, and effect greater utilization of labor, equipment and materials.
- Maintain Daily maintenance and PM documentation to verify PM activities are met and maintained on all equipment
- Maintains upkeep of building and grounds including interior as well as exterior.
- Documents corrective action for all deficiencies noted on SQF, pre-operational and corporate audits in relation to equipment performance and guarding
- Develops training documents and work instruction as well as taking part in the indoctrination of workers to improve work performance and acquaint workers with company policies and procedures.
- Recommend and/or manages continuous improvement activities and projects in a way that engages employees and functional partners in systematic, effective and collaborative manner.

**Qualifications**
- 5 years experience - preferred
- Good understanding of GMP
- Must be detail and performance oriented, with high level of accuracy, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Articulate communicator, who will have a positive and stimulating influence on others with strong communication up and down the organization
- Work independently as well as in a team environment, be flexible, exacting, demanding and able to respond well to pressure and challenge.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to set and meet goals and demonstrate responsibility for own work as well as that of others.
- Must be able to manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations.
- Understands how to prioritize and plan work requirements and its relationship to the overall plant operation.
- Follow Company policy, Safety Standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
- Able to communicate and work well within a diverse culture

Willing to assist in any way required in order to ensure a safe environment, all protocols are maintained and to meet customer and business changing requirements

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
