**Job Scope**:
Reporting to the Production Supervisor, this position operates a Bottle and crate washer equipment, as well as provides relief coverage in other areas of the plant. When required, this position is also responsible for organizing the work of the bottles needed for production.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Operate Bottle washing Machine in the Production department
- Ensure integrity of seal, product and weight
- Lead order run and verify quantity
- Monitor and perform routine checks of systems to ensure lines are running smoothly
- Conduct daily COP washes of systems.
- Interact with maintenance and supervisory staff regarding any production issues
- Complete documentation of GMPs and HACCP related items
- Maintain accurate and detailed packaging records and perform line checks as required
- Provide relief coverage for other machine operators/plant helpers Safety & Quality responsibility as outlined in SOPs & other training materials provided and accurate record keeping
- Attend prescribed courses/training
- For all production machinery, ensures proper washing, proper sanitation (equipment and environment), correct codes and labels - monitors reports of Machine Operators - ensures that adequate packaging supplies are available - prepares some ingredients for production
**Qualifications**:
- Working knowledge of GMPs and HACCP, including excellent sanitary habits is required
- Minimum 2 years of machine operating experience, preferably in a food or beverage environment
- Must demonstrate Health & Safety awareness
- Good communication/interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team
- Self-motivated, detail oriented, and quality conscious
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the job
- Must be punctual and diligent
- Computer skills and experience working with automated machinery
- Working Environment: Regular exposure to noise, cold temperatures, humidity and dry conditions. Continuous exposure to machines, moving objects (forklifts) and frequent interruptions.
- Physical Demands: Standing for extended length of time, sitting and walking for considerable length of time. Moderate lifting of materials up to maximum 60lbs.
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
Work Location: In person
