Junior Kombucha Bartender

Loon Kombucha is looking for Junior Kombucha bartenders to support farmers markets and events in Ottawa. If you are a proven hard worker who loves meeting new people, this is an amazing experience to add bartending experience and training onto your resume. Junior Bartenders are mentored to take on Senior Kombucha Bartender roles in future seasons.

**Overview**:
Junior Kombucha Bartenders who work for Loon Kombucha receive excellent on-the-job training, learning how to set up kegs and pour perfectly from draft taps. This onboarding position often leads to Senior Bartending roles with the brewery and will prepare you manage bartending roles in the service industry.

Your job is to sell fresh, “on-tap“ and pre-packaged cans of Loon Kombucha on the weekends. You will help transport kegs and event equipment to the site, set everything up and represent the brewery for the duration of the event. This all starts by attracting the attention of passers-by. You invite new customers to the booth with samples and teach them about Loon. By selling new bottles to customers, you incentivize them to return for refills.

You will provide excellent customer service. A good understanding of kombucha is required.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:
Transport, set up and take down of Loon Kombucha event equipment

Offering samples of kombucha and engaging customers in a friendly manner

Answering questions and educating people about Loon Kombucha

Fixing equipment issues in a calm and orderly manner

Consistently attending on time and showing dedication to customers

Filling bottles, encouraging individuals to return for refills

Providing excellent customer service and brand awareness

Maintaining a clean booth and professional appearance at all times

Promoting social media activities and presence

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:
Ability to lift 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time

Ability to solve problems under pressure

Excellent customer service skills

Outgoing personality

Dependable and dedicated to your work

Sales experience

Other duties as required

**Job Type**: Spring/Summer/Part-time/Contract. Contract with possibility to extend. Must be available on the weekends.

**Required education**:
High school
