**Overview**

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for ensuring positive and effective communication with drivers, customers and internal staff. They maintain an efficient flow of paperwork and information between the office and the warehouse staff. They also ensure a successful start for the next shifts shipping clerk.
- **Shift Schedule**:_ Sunday (8:00am - 4:30pm), Monday - Thursday (2:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

**Duties**
- Checks in trucks at the shipping window being mindful of appointment times and dock door assignments.
- Maintain the accuracy of the white board and the paperwork.
- Review inbound shipment paperwork for completeness and adds charges temperatures and pallet tracking in footprint
- Enter inbound Shipments into footprint and prepares license plates to be provided to the receive.
- Scans completed BOL’s and complete shipment paperwork to footprint.
- Collaborate with procurement staff to list expected deliveries
- Receive shipments and sign paperwork upon receipt
- Contact supplier or shipper if a mistake is identified
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place
- Carry out any other duties as assigned

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as receiving clerk or similar position
- Experience in operating forklifts
- Working knowledge of computer programs for entering data
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities
- Excellent organizational skills
- Great communication and interpersonal abilities
- Keen eye for detail

**Applicants must hold a Valid Canadian Work Permit to Apply

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $20.05 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
