**Role and Responsibilities**
**The role that we are proposing**:
- Interpret mechanical assembly plans, circuit and hydraulic diagrams, and assess the operation of the circuit (using detail drawings, illustrations showing an assembly method and work procedures (aeronautics)).
- Assemble mechanical, electromechanical and hydraulic systems based on instructions, assembly drawings, system subassemblies, components and appropriate raw materials.
- Perform manual bench machining operations or on conventional machine tools (e.g. measure, rivet, saw, drill, file, rectify, thread, remove screws, bolts and threads, use a pipe-bending machine and rotate wire bobbins (AIMS)).
- Calculate the thickness of shims required to meet the geometric tolerances (runout, parallelism, coaxially) of the drawings.
- Use precision instruments to measure and control parts of various shapes (e.g. micrometer, vernier scale, microscope and electronic measuring devices).
- Professional Study Diploma in Electromechanic. Any other equivalent combination of the required qualifications will be considered.
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
- Be familiar with precision standards.
- Be familiar with occupational health and safety standards, especially WHMIS.
- Functional French is required.
