Accounting Technician

HC Professional Corporation is a full service accounting firm with two offices, Stony Plain and west Edmonton. We are dedicated to helping people and their organizations plan for success by offering advisory services, planning for the future, tax planning, and a wide range of services for small business owners and individuals.

We are currently seeking an accounting technician / administrative assistant to join our team at the Stony Plain office. You will work directly with clients to communicate tax information and other various general questions.

**Qualifications**
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office
- Advanced English skills in both written and verbal communications are required forthis position. This is a must as you will need to communicate with CRA and clients utilizing advanced accounting terminology and concepts
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle as the position may on occasion require you to travel to a client’s location, etc.
- Having experience with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, Sage is an asset
- Experience preparing personal tax returns is an asset

**Responsibilities**
- Assist colleagues whenever necessary
- Preparing personal tax returns
- Responding to CRA
- Bookkeeping
- Administrative duties

The salary for this position will be commensurate with experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 20-40 per week

**Salary**: $2,700.00-$3,500.00 per month
