**The Financial Analyst (Real Estate)**

**Summary**

Performing market research, running business models and financial models to evaluate prospective clients and projects. These duties will include determining profitability and other business measures of developer program and landlord program, among other products. As opportunities or new product concepts arise, business analysts may be called upon to aid in producing new models and assumptions. Business analysts may also be required to prepare and present business cases to clients, and aid other team members with various tasks as needs and priorities shift.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Experience with Financial Modelling (Real Estate and Development)
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Experience leading and developing top-performing teams.
- A history of leading and supporting successful projects.

**Role Duties**:

- Collect market data using MLS and other sources.
- Produce financial analysis, investment return calculations, and provide a recommended course of action regarding proposed deals.
- Perform business research to develop, update, and validate business assumptions.
- Assist the team in researching and developing new business opportunities and models.
- Complete ad-hoc and self-directed learning as required.
- Correspond with business partners and vendors.
- Present findings to internal and external clients.
- Assist co-workers with documents, power points, and other tasks from time to time as needed.

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Richmond Hill, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
