Purchasing/warehouse Coordinator

Edmonton, Canada Creative Door Services Full time

Manages purchasing of materials, equipment and supplies for the branch.
- Work closely with Warehouse Manager to ensure inventory management and that material on hand is in sufficient quantity.
- Ensure all purchase orders are accurate, completed correctly and processed
- Work with the warehouse team to ensure shipping, receiving and administrative measures and controls are in place and adhered to.
- Handle all receiving documents and ensure entry into the operating system is completed daily.
- Review and approve all freight invoices including corrections where applicable
- Ensure all discrepancies with supplier invoices are addressed and resolved
- Work closely with the Accounts Payable team to ensure processing of payables is timely and efficient
- Ensure any suppliers returns are handled effectively
- Make all necessary preparations for inventory counts including coordination with other departments and corporate personnel
- Support all departments with their purchasing requirements
- Ensure controls are in place to manage requests from field technicians
- Ensure workorders are updated with purchasing & cost information where required
- Work with the inventory maintenance system to ensure part numbers and costs remain accurate as needed.
- Negotiate pricing from vendors as required
- Demonstrates exceptional customer service at all times, leads by example in maintaining positive customer relationships
- Other duties, as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse, inventory and/or purchasing
- Proven experience in multi-tasking and customer responsiveness (strong customer service)
- Pre-employment fit testing required.
