We are looking for a highly motivated creative individual that would like to work with a bunch of other highly motivated creative individuals to make some delicious and cool things We are looking for the right person to join our team that wants to learn how to create beautiful artistic cakes and sweets as well as high quality baked goods with a focus on sourcing locally and incorporating the boreal forest. The right person has a love of food and pastry with a willingness and want to learn and see new things.

**Job Requirements**:

- Some knowledge of baking and baking experience
- A passion for learning a trade and for furthering personal educational growth
- Creativeness
- Willingness to learn
- Food handling safety is a must
- Drivers License (An Asset)

**Position Description**:

- Keep Area clean at all times
- Complete prep & prepare baked goods in accordance with Chef's specifications
- Learn and complete new baked items
- Ensure that baked goods come out in excellent quality
- Set up and stock all bakery stations and maintain necessary prep
- Detailed cleaning of entire work space on a continual basis
- Prep food for caterings, restaurant, and food truck if kitchen needs help
- Serve caterings when needed
- Help prep and work on location at various caterings
- Taste and try all food

**Work Environment and Physical responsibilities**

- Work involves continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in fast paced environment
- Typical motions include repetitive hand and arm movements, repetitive grasping, bending and reaching
- Responsible for moving or lifting an average of 5lbs - 20lbs with a maximum weight lifted of 50lbs
- Exposure to extreme temperatures from coolers, freezers, ovens, etc.
- Safe and proper handling of sharp equipment
- Will be required to spend most of your time on your feet without breaks for long periods of time.

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
