TheKey formerly Home Care Assistance is looking for caring and compassionate individuals to become a part of our team and join our mission of Changing the Way the World Ages.

**AVAILABILITY**:Thurs-Sat 8PM-8AM**

PSWs in **Toronto **whose main responsibilities will contribute to managing activities of daily living (ADLs) and maintain the autonomy of clients. Applicants of interest will work primarily with the elderly in autonomous, semi-autonomous and total care conditions.

**Main responsibilities**:

- Able to communicate in Portuguese.
- Dementia experience is must.
- Providing basic care relating to clients’ ADLs and IADL’s
- Assistance with bathing, toileting, and dressing
- Assisting with walking, exercise, and mobility
- Giving status updates and feedback to the family
- Medication reminders

**Requirements and working conditions**:Valid First Aid / CPR certification**
- Good knowledge in English, Portuguese.
- Dynamic, punctual, reliable, optimistic, courteous and proactive
- Must have passion and experience caring for the elderly
- Clear Criminal Reference Check
- Proof of eligibility to work in Canada
- Minimum 2 professional references
