**Overview**:
This is a full-time on-site role located in Stratford, ON.
As an Apprentice or Licensed Plumber at NT Parr Plumbing & Heating Inc, you will be responsible for performing plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance. You will work closely with the plumbing team to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
PAY BASED OFF EXPERIENCE
**Duties**:
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances
- Inspect plumbing systems and identify issues or potential problems
- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects in a timely manner
- Follow building codes and regulations to ensure compliance
- Use power tools and hand tools to perform plumbing tasks
- Read blueprints and technical drawings to determine the layout of plumbing systems
- Collaborate with clients to understand their plumbing needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective resolutions
- Perform routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future problems
**Skills**:
- Proficiency in using power tools for plumbing tasks
- Mechanical knowledge to understand the functioning of plumbing systems
- Carpentry skills for installing support structures for pipes and fixtures
- Ability to assemble, install, and repair various types of plumbing systems
- Basic math skills for measuring, calculating pipe lengths, and estimating material quantities
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
