Our Support & Inclusion Activity Leaders are responsible for ensuring children with diverse abilities or support needs have an inclusive before and after school care experience.**Who we’re looking for**:

**Your qualifications**
- Must be at least 19 years of age
- Experience working with children 5 - 12 with additional support needs
- Experience as a Behavioral Internationalist or Support Worker and Asset
- Emergency First Aid and CRC - C & AED
- 20 hours of training in Child Development, Child
- Guidance and/or Nutrition an asset**Your responsibilities**:

- Work effectively within a staff team to provide an inclusive environment of support, strategies, and resources for children with diverse needs to fully participate within the program.
- Provide individual support to children within the program setting
- Help to build and contribute to a community environment of global supports and inclusion for all children through supporting their strengths and stretches.
- Help children navigate conflict and role model positive behaviours.
- Contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of care plans within the program

- **FREE Gym Membership **paid vacation days and sick leave**Location**:Rupert Park YMCA Kids Club (1350 Kitchener St, Vancouver)**Terms**:Permanent, Part-time 25 hours a week**Shift**:Monday - Friday 7:30am - 9:00am & 2:30pm - 6:00pm- ** This is a split shift - must be available to work in the morning AND afternoon**
