Leadhand, Production - Yogurt (Temporary)

Schedule: 12hr continental shifts from 6:00am - 6:00pm

Salary: $31.90/hour
- _There are 2 salary increases in the first year of employment, with a target rate of _$35.45/hour_._

Overview of the Role

You'll discover a stimulating atmosphere that fosters your professional growth in a clean and safe environment. Under the responsibility of the Manager, Production, the incumbent will be responsible for overseeing production and demolding responsibilities.

How you will make contributions that matter:

- Sanitation of all parts, equipment and department as per standard operating procedures
- Completion of all documentation (HACCP forms, sign in/outs & offs, make sheets etc.)
- Ensure correct batch numbers are used with all products
- A high commitment level and a team player who works well with everyone
- Can easily assume additional responsibility as required
- Assigning duties to staff (Cleaning, covering breaks, assorted other duties)
- Quick at assessing the facts and making a sound decision
- Working with other departments as needed (Yogurt, Cheese, QA, Maintenance, Warehouse)
- Train new employees in equipment lines, Health & Safety and Food safety matters.
- Supports and maintains Saputo Dairy Products Canada G.P. quality, food safety and health and safety standards.
- Other duties as assigned

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

- Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting and record keeping with the ability to adapt to changing environments quickly and easily
- Sound communication and interpersonal skills: demonstrated analytical and organizational skills.
- Must be self-motivated with a high degree of initiative and the ability to function independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to motivate and encourage employee to be team players and execute their tasks.
