- Radium Hotsprings BC, we are located 2.5 hours from calgary(west) in the beautiful purcell mountain range. Speciality coffee house and bakery that serves a wide number of customers, dynamic business as well as team. We are looking for a new bakery to take to another level

The role Baker Associate
- Assistant in fast paced speciality coffee and bakery. Baked goods are all from scratch. very reasonable hours, competitive compensation, great team environment.

Location
- Beautiful Radium Hot Springs located in the Purcell mountains
- warmer side of the mountains past Rocky Mountains.

**You
- Must be a resident in Canada
- have these qualifications**:

- Good understanding of baking terms and following recipes
- Post secondary education in the culinary arts would be an asset
- Work experience from previous employers with baking experience would be very applicable
- 5 days week employment
- full time
- there is the potentail for part time there is some flexiblity
- Trained by head baker
- Making of breads, scones, cookies, cinnamon buns, squares, pies
- Operates heavy duty mixer and smaller mixer to combine ingredients
- Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume to keep the bakery operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team.
- Communicates information to supervisors and managers so that the team can respond accordingly. **Responsible for keeping bakery in a clean and orderly condition, by performing cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, mixers, and wiping down surface areas.**:

- Maintains regular and punctual attendance standards so that the team can operate efficiently and effectively.
- Follows all cafe operating policies and standards, including providing quality products, store safety and security. Ability to lift and move heavy loads of up to 20 lbs throughout the duration of the shift, as the position is physically demanding.Ability to learn quickly, perform repetitive, physical tasks **Strong interpersonal skills ** Ability to work both alone and as part of a team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
