Journeyman Roofer

**Position: Commercial Journeyman Roofer**

- Utilize clear lines of communication and treat others with dignity and respect
- Ensure company vehicle is in safe operating condition and is equipped with the required tools and equipment for each job
- Responsible for the safe use of all power tools
- Conduct building inspections in partnership with clients
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate
- Demonstrated ability to teach skills and work effectively with others
- Good observation skills and problem-solving abilities
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a
- positive attitude and exemplary leadership and customer service
- Exhibit positive and effective interactions with clients

**Requirements**:

- Certified applicator with major commercial roofing systems including, SBS, EPDM, TPO.
- Journeyman experienced in Single Ply with minimum of 5 years exp would be considered an asset
- Minimum 5- 7 years of experience in the commercial roofing industry
- Minimum one year of employee supervision experience
- Red Seal Ticketed as a Roofer, Damp and Water proofer is an asset
- Driver’s license required and your own transportation is considered an asset
- Can safely operate vehicles, mechanical devices and/or equipment
- Ability to work at various heights while adhering to safety protocols
- Can perform physical activity on regular basis
- Fluent in the English language and can clearly communicate with supervisors, clients, and co-workers
- Be able to follow and understand safe work procedures
