Jr Shipper

**Summary of Position**:
To assist the Head Shipper in the daily running of the shipping department, receive production-related goods and maintain FVSP’s dry storage warehouse

**Primary Responsibilities**:
**Receiving**
- Transport, stock and organize production staging room
- Complete stocking records and supply to Supply Coordinator as required
- Notify supply coordinator when concerned about stock levels
- Stock and maintain dry storage warehouse(s)
- Monthly inventories
- Weekly cleaning
- Receive/unload and store plant deliveries

**Shipping**
- Building and filling of customer orders through SYSPRO shipping interface
- Product organization (first in/first out)
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Shipping department
- Coolers
- Freezers
- Trucks
- Maintain pallet storage area
- Coordinate pickup of broken pallets through Head Shipper
- Confirm payment and load custom processing orders
- Assist with monthly product inventory
- Function as Head Shipper when required, run the department during their absence

**Secondary Responsibilities**
- Help in other departments when required
- Any other duties as assigned
