Compensation: Starting at $21.47 per hour plus entitlements dependent on position

Location: London, Strathroy, and Exeter, ON

Schedule: Varied shifts: including evenings, weekends, overnights, and public holidays

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Working with youth and/or adults with developmental disabilities and/or dual diagnoses/concurrent disorders in various types of community living environments providing ongoing support
- Collaborate with teams to ensure that individualized support plans for participants are met on a daily basis (medical, personal, physical, financial, hygienic, social, recreational, emotional, developmental), and provide the best quality of life while in compliance with legislated requirements and company policies and procedures
- Communicate appropriately and effectively with participants to ensure their needs and desires are being addressed

**Qualifications**:

- Post-secondary education in Human, Health, Community, and/or Social Services (e.g., DSW, PSW, SSW)
- Minimum six (6) months of related experience supporting people with complex needs
- Reliable with a demonstrated commitment to being a dependable member of a team
- Understanding of support requirements specific to the roles and responsibilities of the job
- Proficiency in both verbal and written communication
- Strong mentorship, advocacy, organization, communication, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills, in addition to attention to detail while multi-tasking
- Ability to work collaboratively with the team, and independently as necessary
- Capacity to establish, implement, and maintain professional, and personal boundaries
- Multilingualism and having diverse lived experiences are considered assets
- **Valid Class G (full) Driver’s License with a 3-year Uncertified Driver Record (mandatory)**:

- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check with Humana listed as the employer (mandatory)
- Physical Health assessment: verification of up-to-date immunizations, COVID vaccination status (2 doses), and ability to meet the physical requirements of the position (mandatory)
- Current Standard First Aid & CPR (mandatory) *Level C with AED training preferred
