Position Overview:
As a Carpet installer, you will play a crucial role in assisting our skilled team with various construction and restoration projects. We value a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the desire to learn the trade.

You are ideally familiar with all aspect of completing accurate material lists from floorplans and scopes of work, coordinating delivery of these materials, and capably installing underlay and carpet, including kicking and stretching, as well as patching damaged areas.

Depending on performance there may be opportunities to partner with our Lead Installer and Project Coordinator and work towards training and leading your own installation team. A wage review would be taken at that point.

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation of Carpet and Underlay, from start to finish, and patch repair.
- Assisting with various construction projects as required, including but not limited to site preparation, material handling, and equipment operation.
- Maintaining a clean and organized worksite to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Learning from experienced team members and actively participating in on-the-job training sessions.
- Following safety protocols and guidelines to ensure the well-being of yourself and your team.

Qualifications:

- At least 2 years Carpeting experience
- A willingness to engage in physical work and handle various tasks in a construction setting.
- Interest in learning the construction trade and growing within the company.
- Punctuality and reliability, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Must have a valid driver's license, be at least 18 years old
- Lift heavy materials (30-50 lbs.)

Previous construction experience will be considered when determining the wage in the job offer. This is negotiable.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Full-time Part-time hours: 30 - 50 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
