**Summary of Position**:

**Evening Shift: 4pm - 2am (Monday to Thursday)**

Operate all of the machines and attached equipment installed in the plant in a safe and efficient manner in order to manufacture and pack good quality masks in line with prescribed Quality, Health Canada, and productivity guidelines

**Education and Training**:

- Completed DES
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Inspect machine and make machine adjustments, set machine counter at beginning of each shift, and operate machine according to work instructions.
- Verify correct raw materials (including packaging) and correct identification numbers are being used (lot numbers/operator number/UDI Labels if applicable).
- Perform line clearance as outlined in SOP for the product.
- Perform in-process visual, measurements, physical count, and manual inspections of finished product to detect defects, and record results appropriately.
- Place finished product boxes on pallet.
- Notify the Material Handler to change materials as necessary.
- Verify correct material is loaded after each roll change.
- Notify Maintenance/Supervisor of detected defects and machine maintenance needs.
- Assist in the training of new employees.
- Adhere to safety, housekeeping, regulatory, and quality system requirements associated with production.
- Support production and quality related activities as directed by maintenance/ supervision and other levels of management.
- Perform any other job-related tasks.

**Health & Safety**:

- By constantly ensuring the safety and security of goods in all production and logistics operations raw materials;
- By alerting plant management to all major events;
- Ensure compliance with CNESST legislation;
- Identify and anticipate health and safety concerns and hazards by monitoring environmental, operational and occupational conditions;
- Working Conditions:

- Must be able to lift 25lbs repetitively.
- Must successfully complete pre employment screening
- Must successfully complete training program

**Responsabilités clés**:

- Inspecter la machine et effectuer les réglages, régler le compteur de la machine au début de chaque équipe et faire fonctionner la machine conformément aux instructions de travail.
- Vérifier que les matières premières (y compris l'emballage) sont correctes et que les bons numéros d'identification sont utilisés (numéros de lot/numéro d'opérateur/étiquettes UDI le cas échéant).
- Effectuer le dédouanement de la ligne comme indiqué dans les procédures opératoires normalisées (PON) pour le produit.
- Effectuer des inspections visuelles, des mesures, des comptages physiques et des inspections manuelles du produit fini en cours de fabrication pour détecter les défauts et enregistrer les résultats de manière appropriée.
- Placer les boîtes de produits finis sur une palette.
- Aviser le manutentionnaire de changer les matériaux si nécessaire.
- Vérifier que le bon matériau est chargé après chaque changement de rouleau.
- Informer le responsable de l'entretien/superviseur des défauts détectés et des besoins d'entretien de la machine.
- Aider à la formation des nouveaux employés.
- Respecter les exigences en matière de sécurité, d'entretien ménager, de réglementation et de système de qualité associées à la production.
- Soutenir les activités liées à la production et à la qualité selon les directives de la maintenance/supervision et des autres niveaux de gestion.
- Effectuer toute autre tâche liée au travail.

**Santé et sécurité**:

- En assurant en permanence la sécurité et la sûreté des marchandises dans toutes les matières premières des opérations de production et de logistique ;
- En appliquant et en rappelant les procédures et instructions de sécurité (règles et instructions de sécurité...).
- En alertant la direction de l'usine de tout événement majeur ;
- En veillant au respect de la législation du CNESST ;
- Identifier et anticiper les préoccupations et les risques en matière de santé et de sécurité en surveillant les conditions environnementales, opérationnelles et professionnelles ;

**Les conditions de travail**:

- Doit être capable de soulever 25lbs de manière répétitive.
- Doit réussir la vérification préalable à l'emploi
- Doit avoir terminé avec succès un programme de formation
