**Aggregates Foreperson**

**Location**: various quarry locations throughout the Ottawa Valley

Reporting to the Aggregate Superintendent, the **Aggregate Foreperson** is responsible for overseeing and managing various crushing and screening plants and staff across multiple locations. This individual ensures that the Aggregate staff adhere to company standards regarding safety, productivity, maintenance, quality, and efficiency.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Lead and promote health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, with a focus on achieving COR Certification.
- Oversee and manage the operations at various aggregate sites, ensuring that mining, environmental, and safety standards are met.
- Implement operational plans to meet production targets and drive continuous improvement in all aspects of operations and production.
- Supervise and coordinate the work of sub-contractors, including those responsible for blasting and drilling, and assist operations staff in day-to-day activities.
- Communicate effectively with the Operations Manager, Aggregate Superintendent, and other team members to develop best practices and resolve issues.
- Maintain accurate records of labour, production, downtime, and equipment costs, and ensure timely reporting and review of required documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Track plant experience is an asset.
- Jaw and Cone crusher experience in hard rock crushing is an asset.
- Ability to lead the team to efficiently operate the plant at high capacity; results-driven
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Extensive understanding of Ontario Health and Safety Regulations
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Attention to detail and focus on quality
