- Job Summary- Job Requirements**Experience**:
This role requires a minimum of two (2) years of recent experience in a similar position, preferably in a post-secondary or institutional environment or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities**:

- Knowledge of cataloguing and/or metadata standards employed in an academic environment (e.g. MARC21, RDA, CONSER, LCSH, LCC, DDC, Dublin Core, etc.)
- Knowledge of efficient searching and use of cataloguing and metadata online tools and databases (e.g. OCLC, Voilà, Library of Congress databases, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills including attention to detail, time management, and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment in a professional and conscientious manner
- Willingness to take initiative and solve problems with limited supervision
- Ability to follow international and local policy and procedures
- Excellent analytical and research skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Flexibility and willingness to adapt to new ideas and concepts

**Specialized Knowledge/Education**:
Secondary school diploma or equivalent.

**Assets/Preferences**:

- Experience working with library and/or digital asset management systems
- Experience editing and creating bibliographic and authority records according to local and international standards and procedures preferred
- Knowledge of Integrated Library Systems or Library Services Platforms
- Knowledge of at least one language other than English
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline, or some post-secondary education
