We provide on-foot dog walking services in the condo dense neighbourhood of Liberty Village creating a fast-paced and exciting work environment.

- **Qualifications | Responsibilities**_
- **Lives within a close 15min proximity to Liberty Village, Toronto**:

- _Typical operating hours are M-F 11am-4:00 pm (often shorter days)_
- _All walks are local to Liberty Village. No vehicle is required._
- Passion to work with animals (cats and dogs), experience with dogs is preferred.
- No criminal record. Background check required.
- Punctual, organized, independent, patient, caring + responsible.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Has a positive, enthusiastic and friendly demeanour.
- Enjoys being outdoors - in all kinds of weather.

**Day-to-Day role**:

- Pick up and drop off dogs to/from their homes.
- **Safely **can handle walking 3 to 5 dogs at a time.
- Memory retention to recall special requests and conditions for each dog.
- Maintain leadership of the pack through a suggested training style.
- Be respectful of client’s homes and the neighbourhood.
- Provide exceptional care including love & affection, equal attention and adequate exercise for each dog.
- Must have a smartphone with data for communication (WhatsApp etc).
- Willing to communicate outside work hours to organize schedules etc.
- _Occasional pet sitting and cat visits are also included in this role but not mandatory._
- Gear and equipment for the role is provided.

- **Salary**:_
- Average $300-$500 per week, with consistent pay increases | Roughly 15-20hr work weeks.

- **Interviews will be conducted in Two Phases**:_
- First Phase will be a sit-down interview with the owner
- Second Phase will be a working interview where you will walk alongside a Pack Leader not to last more than four hours.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
