Agricultural Sprayer/ Operator

**What we are looking for**:
Twenty View Farms is currently seeking an experienced and skilled **Sprayer/ Operator** to help service our customers. We are in search of a hardworking, outgoing individual that likes to take pride and ownership in their work.

**Who we are**:
At Twenty View Farms we work with local farmers helping them succeed with their crops from planting to harvest completely. We offer custom work anywhere from agronomy to grain marketing, including spraying and planting, to harvest, etc.

We are also a licensed Grain Dealer, Pioneer Seed Dealership, Sales Representative for Alpine Plant Products, and agricultural chemical and fertilizer retailer.

We work closely with our customers offering them experienced knowledge and assisting them with their daily farming needs.

**What we offer**
- Wages: $20.00-$30.00 per hour based on skills and experience
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed.

**What we need from you**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in agricultural Sprayer/ Operator or similar role
- AZ or DZ truck license would be considered an asset.
- Experience in equipment maintenance an asset
- Familiarity with GPS technology for precision farming.
- Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to agricultural spraying.

**What you will do**
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling and disposal of chemicals.
- Keep accurate records of spray activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory of chemicals and supplies.
- Assist in spray planning, organizing route and product details.
- Communicate with the office to ensure Phase 3 warehouse is properly stocked at all times.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Help with other tasks of the operation as needed.
- The role’s main duties will be operating the sprayer, but during off-seasons you may be asked to assist in other areas of the operation. I.e, equipment maintenance, deliveries.

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Smithville, ON L0R 2A0: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Agricultural Spraying: 3 years (required)
- Equipment Maintenance: 3 years (preferred)
- Modern Farm Practical: 3 years (preferred)
- GPS Technology: 3 years (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- AZ License (preferred)
- DZ License (preferred)
