You will work with internal and external customers to inspect vegetation conditions in the powerline ROW, notify stakeholders and prescribe work to be executed by brushing contractors.

- Transmission and Distribution ROW and vegetation inspection.
- Stakeholder engagement and notification.
- Maintenance prescription.
- Data entry, management, GIS mapping.
- Quality Control.
- Maintain safety and industry compliance standards.

**Qualifications**
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Understanding of utility distribution and/or transmission systems.
- Forestry or Utility background is preferred.
- 3 years experience on distribution or 1 year experience on transmission.
- ISA Arborist certification or Forestry diploma would be an asset.
- Additional UTT certification would be a significant asset.
- Strong tree identification skills.
- Valid provincial driver’s license.
- Standard First Aid prior to start.
- Work with company guidelines for safety and compliance.
- Need to have willingness to grow and progress with the company.

**Additional Information**
- Starting wage is $30.00+ for ISA Arborist planner position, dependent on education and experience.
- Starting wage is $34.00+ for UTW/UTT and can be higher with additional experience and qualification.
- Year-round employment with ArborMetrics. If work on Fortis is reduced, then every effort is made to move successful staff to another project that is a good fit personally and professionally.
- Occasional overtime requested.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
