Pavement Markings Technician

**Qualifications**:
- Safety-conscious with a dedication to learning and practicing safe work habits
- Familiarity with traffic control standards, with knowledge of OTM Book 7/11 as a plus
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to travel and work outdoors across Ontario, with paid travel time and breaks provided
- Capable of lifting 50 to 75 lbs occasionally
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are mandatory
- Flexibility to work shift hours, including night shifts, with overtime work occasionally required
- Comfortable with out-of-town work, with travel expenses covered by the company
**Responsibilities**:
- Re-striping existing line markings and painting new ones on projects/roads
- Setting up and taking down traffic control according to MTO standards (Book 7)
- Preparing equipment and trucks for operations
- Handling paint and glass traffic spheres
- Completing daily work order forms and recording quantities/materials used
- Maintaining and cleaning equipment, conducting routine maintenance or minor repairs as needed
- Performing housekeeping duties within the shop and yard
- Other duties as assigned
**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
