**What you will do**

As a Leasing Agent, your primary function will be to provide exceptional customer service. You will perform the necessary sales and leasing functions to achieve the occupancy goals set out by the company. You will be required to assist with the administrative and operational functions of the site when required, and you will be reporting to the Site Manager.

**What you will have**
- Greet and qualify leasing prospects.
- Gather and input personal information obtained from the leasing prospect for leasing process.
- Show prospective residents available suites and sell the benefits of the amenities and rental community.
- Perform credit check, employment and landlord checks, and make recommendations regarding the applicant for the site manager's review.
- Contact approved residents and confirm their acceptance of offered suite; coordinate and oversee signing of lease agreements and any other required documentation.
- Complete resident move-in procedures and move-out inspections.
- Maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Take part in regular site inspections and create work orders for maintenance and janitorial departments.
- Conduct market surveys of competing properties as required. (i.e. visit and or contact competitor sites, compare unit costs, amenities and community services available.)
- Perform administrative duties as assigned by Site Manager.
- Filing of documents and paperwork and proper storage of files and folders.
- Assist Site Managers with documenting and answering resident complaints and follow incident reporting process.
- Assist in contacting trades people and arranging work as directed by Site Manager or Maintenance Manager.
- Engage in sales-driven lease administration and renewal activity with a focus on resolving outstanding issues and providing outstanding customer service.
- Complete other duties as required and assigned by the Site Manager such as doing purchase orders, writing work orders, posting signs on resident doors, posting signs in common areas and delivering eviction notices, checking units and perform touch-up cleaning.
- Assist with common area cleaning as required.
- Be a helping-hand for other departments as required.
- Work in a safe and professional manner adhering to the Occupational Health and Safety Legislation and the Midwest Property Management Health and Safety program.
- Adhering to and complying with Maclab / Midwest's Policies and Procedure manual.
- Take part in monthly safety meetings and daily toolbox talks.
- Complete a hazard assessment with the help of the Site Manager before completion of a task not routinely performed.

**WORK HOURS**: Tuesday-Thursday-10 am -7 pm, Friday 8am-5pm, Saturday 11am-4pm

**REQUIRED EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE**
- Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by some training in office procedures.
- At least one-year experience in an administrative role which must include dealing with the general public.
- At least one-year experience working in a sales and customer service focused environment.
- A clear police records check.
- Pre-employment fitness to work testing.
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
