This position reports to the Director of Global Operations. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain daily operations in a safe and productive manner within our Canadian distribution center which is located in Mississauga, Ontario.

In addition to facility safety, security and upkeep, this position will manage the teams responsible for maintaining the material handling, receiving, golf club repair services and order fulfillment activity day to day. Production planning, supply purchasing, resource scheduling and driving continuous improvements are the key areas of focus for the Warehouse Facility Manager.

Additional responsibilities include facilities maintenance, managing vendor and third party service provider relationships, purchasing and personnel management for the facility. The manager will lead all hiring, training, coaching and process improvements required to maintain the facility’s production targets.
- Maintain production data and provide analysis required to monitor, track and report daily & weekly metrics for all production activities and help teams maintain and or succeed the Company’s daily operating targets.
- Provide necessary oversight and direction to team leads and process owners to accurately monitor, track and report weekly key performance indicators (KPI’s) used to measure the performance of each employee within each area of production that is required to operate facility in a successful manner.
- Assist executive leadership with effective communication of our policies and procedures along with daily and weekly goals; establish working relationships with all team members to help drive collaboration and implement change as needed
- Provide Human Resources management with an extension of reach by understanding and upholding the policies set within the Employee Handbook. Oversee hiring and disciplinary action required to properly maintain staff levels and onboard facility employees.
- Provide coaching and direction required to place staff in a position to succeed.
- Ensure completion of all daily goals required to maintain the facility’s KPI metric standards.
- Utilize production planning skills to establish effective production schedules and manage levels of efficiency for the employees and our daily processes.
- Monitor SOB (work in process inventories) levels and ensure processing due dates are met weekly.
- Schedule resources strategically to accommodate fluctuating efforts required to manage receiving and shipping activities as they fluctuate based on seasonality.
- Maintain effective relationships with our vendors and service providers. Negotiate service contracts to help keep the facility operating in a clean, safe and efficient manner day to day.
- Project manage facility improvement projects as needed as growth takes place and facility needs evolve.
- Manage purchasing activity of supplies and equipment required to keep the facility and the production teams running at peak performance levels. Negotiate with vendors to ensure most efficient procurement of required equipment and supplies
- Assist the Director of Global Operations located in Raleigh, NC with the ongoing development of in house resources to maximize their managerial and leadership capabilities. Always be on the lookout for talent from within and be ready to challenge those with promise to help facilitate their growth professionally
- As needed, provide the onsite General Manager and customer support team with assistance to help facilitate procurement activities and exceed our customer expectations
- Enforce the Company’s established security and safety protocols in effort to provide a safe and secure working environment for the staff. Lead the necessary delegation of tasks to continuously maintain a safe and clean working environment for the teams
- Lead your team by example; adopt a player/coach role as needed to set the tone and derive the highest level of production performance from your team

**Experience/Skills required**:

- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills and is capable of building and maintaining effective professional relationships to work productively as a team.
- Previous experience working within a distribution center or manufacturing environment.
- Analytical skills required; the ability to evaluate metric performance data and identify

productivity trends to help increase facility efficiencies in all areas.
- Computer literate, competent use of various CPU peripherals and barcode scanners.
- Strong attention to detail; tenacity to ensure accuracy of all assignments completed
- Is dependable and takes personal ownership of responsibilities; highly accountable
- Demonstrates strong personal initiative, has a strong work ethic and has the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments simultaneously.
