Role Summary:
Heli-One is searching for an NDT Technician to join our organization

Responsible for preparing and carrying out non-destructive testing inspections including performing Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing and Eddy Current Testing on aircraft parts based on applicable standards, quality assurance measures, and company policies and procedures.

certifications in MPI and LPI NDT techniques

Key Responsibilities:

- Carry out all fluorescent and magnetic particle inspections of all aircraft parts to support the workshops
- Carry out the post clean of all the parts inspected
- Ensure compliance with the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) manual specifications,
- Performs maintenance and housekeeping duties to ensure a clean and safe work environment

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes:
Essential
- CGSB Level II certifications in MPI and LPI NDT techniques
- Self motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality

Desirable
- CGSB Level II Eddy Current Inspection
- Previous NAS410 authority training
- Ability to make excellent decisions and set appropriate priorities
- Excellent listening, verbal, written, communication and collaborative problem solving skills
- Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Working Conditions:

- Works in the Workshops, with light physical demands and moderate exposure to hazards
- Some exposure to noise, fumes, gas, chemicals, dust or dirt
- Occasionally exposed to temperature fluctuations or humidity
- Work may require occasional weekend and/or evening work.
- Works on the shop floor and will require frequent lifting of materials up to 30 lbs.
