The O’Neill Automotive Group is looking for a financial analyst who has previous experience in an analytical role.

**Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for**:

- Completing financial forecasting and reporting
- Analyzing financial data
- Create financial models to assist with decision making
- Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain accurate weekly cash flow forecast projection
- Assist with month end processing including account reconciliations, journal entries and analysis
- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and year-end Financial Statements
- Perform special projects as required by the Controller
- Assist with year-end audit preparation and working papers
- Ensure compliance to policies and procedures as well as confidentiality and security of all financial files
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
- 3-5 years previous experience required in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
- CPA designation considered an asset but not required
- Previous Automotive dealership experience considered an asset
- Advanced knowledge of Excel formulas and functions
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines
- Self-motivator with ability to work independently
