As the Business Process Management Strategist in our Enterprise Improvement Department, your role will be transformative,
pioneering the way we streamline and operate our business processes. Your primary goal will be to heighten the efficiency and
effectiveness of our operations by architecting and executing the creation of an enterprise-wide business process management
system. This work involves aligning strategic objectives and priorities with efficient systems and processes. Your expertise will guide
the development of critical deliverables including advanced business capability models, business process management standards.
All of these will reflect continuous improvement and innovative thinking, challenging the status quo of business processes and
practices.

Your role requires a systemic perspective, encapsulating more than just an understanding of business processes - it necessitates
envisioning business processes as interconnected systems, not just isolated projects. Leveraging your expertise in systems thinking
and process architecture to identify, recommend, and implement comprehensive and cross-functional business process solutions. At
Manitoba Hydro, you'll not just be leading and facilitating BPM architecture, but also inspiring an organizational-wide paradigm shift
towards a system orientated mindset. The role is about more than guiding change - it's about architecting a new, efficient, and
innovative way of operating within Manitoba Hydro.

**_ Responsibilities:_**

As a Business Process Management Strategist you will:

- Spearhead the development and deployment of business process management strategy and methods and at Manitoba Hydro,

challenging the status quo and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Building the framework and guiding cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop and implement process improvement

initiatives that increase efficiency and effectiveness of business operations at an enterprise scale.
- Identify and pursue opportunities for process automation, working closely with our Digital & Technology team and other

technical teams to identify the right IT solutions that align with our business objectives, initiatives, and business process
management systems.
- Conduct detailed process mapping and analysis, facilitate enterprise-level business capabilities mapping, and develop

business information and documentation models that support strategic decision making.
- Design and implement systems and coach teams across the enterprise to build skills, behaviours and competency around

process documentation, system thinking, performance tracking, and continuous evaluation and improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and support business and leadership systems that align with the organization's culture, improvement

efforts, and business process management strategy.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- A post-secondary degree in a related field such as Commerce or Engineering or a two-year Diploma in a related field, such as

Business Administration, or Information Systems from an institute of recognized standing.
- A minimum of five to seven years of experience leading projects, teams, and initiatives in a technically and operationally

complex organization with an emphasis on business process management at an enterprise level.
- Proven successful leadership in executing business process management, continuous improvement Lean Six Sigma efforts,

which enable efficiency, quality, and tangible financial and customer benefits. A Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is
preferred.
