Position Overview:
**Responsibilities**:

- Perform daily tasks related to the care and maintenance of monitoring flock health.
- Assist in the cleaning and sanitization of chicken housing facilities to maintain a healthy environment for the birds.
- Operate and maintain lawn care equipment and machinery, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Participate in the implementation of biosecurity protocols to prevent the spread of disease.
- Support farm infrastructure maintenance, including repairing equipment as needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions.
- Basic understanding of animal welfare principles and a commitment to upholding them.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the farm location.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 45 per week

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
