Tired of working indoors in a stuffy restaurant or pub? The Redwoods Golf Course is hiring for the position of **Lead, Food and Beverage**
The Lead assists the food and beverage management team in supervising the seasonal restaurant and golf course F&B operations which are open from March - December each year. The Lead will also help to oversee our banquet team through a busy season full of weddings, golf tournaments and banquets
This is a **part-time, seasonal position**. The ideal applicant will have some leadership experience in restaurants or banquets. Priority will be given to those with golf course experience. Due to the nature of the industry, this position involves working on some weekends, evenings and holidays and therefore having a flexible schedule is a requirement.

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- _Ensure a high level of customer service is met in all areas of food and beverage_
- _Work independently to oversee the daily operations of the front-of-house F&B department including the restaurant, concession and beverage cart_
- _Provide leadership and guidance to all front-of-house F&B employees including assigning sections and delegating tasks_
- _Train new employees_
- _Address on-site customer complaints and concerns quickly and effectively_
- _Ensure cashouts and cash drops are completed accurately_
- _Ensure safety and alcohol beverage control policies are being followed_
- _Create, communicate and adhere to event timelines_
- _Other duties as required_

**QUALIFICATIONS & ASSETS**
- _Minimum three years of food and beverage experience in a similar facility or environment_
- _Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a similar facility or environment_
- _Willingness to complete a Police Information Check_
- _Valid First Aid Level 1, CPR and AED Certification, or equivalent will be required to be maintained during employment_
- _Valid Serving It Right will be required to be maintained during employment_
- _Valid Class 5 Driver's License and Willingness to provide a Driver's Abstract is required_
- _Completion of post-secondary education in a discipline such as event management, business administration, or other related disciplines is an asset_
- Operated by Ten Feet Sports and Entertainment, the Redwoods Golf Course has been serving locals and guests since 1994. Redwoods is situated in North Langley just off of Highway #1 and minutes from the Golden Ears Bridge._
